Happening Events: The Atlantic Antic
The Atlantic Antic- September 28th, 12pm-6pm Rain or Shine.
This year marks the 40th anniversary of Brooklyn’s largest street fair! The Atlantic Antic celebrates all of Atlantic Avenue businesses from Brooklyn Heights, Cobble Hill, Boerum Hill and Park Slope, as well as other local and national vendors. Enjoy live music, face painting, pony rides and story telling. The Antic is also best known for its eclectic delicacies, featuring an array of food from around the world in addition to street fair favorites like funnel cake, sausage sandwiches, and roasted corn! The street fair is presented by the Atlantic Avenue Local Development Corporation, whose mission is to strive for further economic development, historic preservation, and cultural enrichment on Atlantic Avenue, in Brooklyn, from Fourth Avenue to the Waterfront and the surrounding area.
