2013 is right around the corner, so make a resolution to have a spectacular New Year’s Eve!

Celebrate the Grand Reopening of The Good Fork in Red Hook!

Hurricane Sandy tried her very hardest to knock The Good Fork down, but with a little help from their neighbors on, they have been able to make great strides toward recovery.  Their grand reopening will be on NYE and will consist of a four course meal for $90.  Click here for reservation information-  Bon Appetit!

Fireworks at Prospect Park, 11pm

Gather at Grand Army Plaza for hot refreshments and entertainment, followed by a fireworks display at midnight!  The best viewing area for the fireworks is in the park on Prospect Park West between Grand Army Plaza and 9th Street.  FREE


Brooklyn’s New Year Run, 11pm

Getting in shape is the #1 New Year’s Resolution for Americans.  Why not ring in the new year with this nighttime 5K around Prospect Park?  This is a fun way to jumpstart your resolution and an opportunity to experience the park like you never have before!  The race kicks off at Grand Army Plaza at 11pm.  Finish with a warm cup of hot chocolate (you deserve it!) and watch the sky light up with the firework show at midnight!


New Year’s at Barclay’s Center– Cold Play and Jay Z Concert, 9pm

Ring in the New Year with the Brooklynite himself and his buddy, Chris Martin.  Sure to be an amazing show.  Tickets are still available.


Brooklyn Winery’s Golden Gala– 9pm, $150

Join the Brooklyn Winery for their posh annual Golden Gala.  Entry includes 4 hour open bar, (featuring wine, top shelf liquor and craft beer) and hors devours.  Their DJ will have you dancing right into 2013!


Union Hall and KKTC $5 NYE Spectacular– 8pm

Throw all inhibitions to the wall and jam out with Karaoke Killed the Cat and hosts Chris Goldteeth and Lord Easy.  Champagne and drink specials all night.


Dances of Vice: New Years Eve 2013– SRB Brooklyn, 9pm-4am, $50 – $75

Be entertained by 15 dancers and cirque artists, 3 bands, 6 hosts and 3 DJs, who will take you on a journey from the Jazz Age to the Rebel Age.  This glitzy soiree will be one New Years to remember!


Coney Island’s Polar Bear Plunge– Stillwell Ave Boardwalk, 1pm, Donation Encouraged

After the partying is over, the perfect way to start the new year is by doing good for others.  So dive (err, plunge rather) into 2013 with the Polar Bear Club of Coney Island.  Freeze your tush off for a good cause- all proceeds go to Camp Sunshine.
