Celebrate the Grand Reopening of The Good Fork in Red Hook!
Hurricane Sandy tried her very hardest to knock The Good Fork down, but with a little help from their neighbors on Gofundme.com, they have been able to make great strides toward recovery. Fireworks at Prospect Park, 11pm
Gather at Grand Army Plaza for hot refreshments and entertainment, followed by a fireworks display at midnight! The best viewing area for the fireworks is in the park on Prospect Park West between Grand Army Plaza and 9th Street. FREE
Brooklyn’s New Year Run, 11pm
Getting in shape is the #1 New Year’s Resolution for Americans. Why not ring in the new year with this nighttime 5K around Prospect Park? This is a fun way to jumpstart your resolution and an opportunity to experience the park like you never have before! The race kicks off at Grand Army Plaza at 11pm.
