Local Band, The Bone Chimes, Opens for Jon Hugo

New York based Indie rock/pop band The Bone Chimes will be opening for Jon Hugo at Rough Trade in Brooklyn, NY on January 31st.They recently released the second single “High Line” off their forthcoming EP, due out spring of 2015.

The band has previously been featured by tastemakers The Huffington PostThe Big Takeover, and the Queens Tribune, and they boast a sound similar to contemporary artists such as Dave Matthews Band and Tom Waits with a touch of the classics likeBuddy Holly and Stevie Wonder.Opening for renowned acts such as The Dirty Pearls and Jesus on The Mainline, The Bone Chimes have performed at many iconic NYC rock venues including Irving Plaza, Music Hall of Williamsburg, Mercury Lounge, had residencies atArlene’s Grocery, and participated in NYC’s CMJ.
