DUMBO Arts Fest 2014
As summer is winding down, the fall events are something we are definitely looking forward to! One in particular, DUMBO Arts Festival is a three day celebration of art on the waterfront. Enjoy street performers, art displays, and a breathtaking video projection on the bridge underpass between Water and Front Streets. The Festival takes over the entire neighborhood, transforming the streets, parks, bridges, buildings, loading docks, galleries, and studios into canvasses, stages and exhibitions spaces. Over 200,000 attendees travel to the enjoy the local and international exhibits. The backdrop of the Brooklyn Bridge and Manhattan Skyline enhance the culturally enriched event. Expect to fine unexpected installations in stores and lobbies to huge, multi-story projections, interactive social experiments, participatory performances and eye candy of all sizes.
