Brooklyn has a new tallest building. A 53-story, 590-foot high building is set to open downtown at 388 Bridge Street. It defeats Brooklyn’s previous tallest building, The Brooklyneer, which is just a block away.
The highest levels of 388 Bridge will feature 144 condos, with four bedroom penthouses approaching $6 million in price. The lower levels will feature both market-rate rentals and low-income rentals. Market-rate rentals will start at about $2,350 a month for a studio.
The top of the building’s exterior will feature a color-changing light display (not unlike the Empire State Building).
