Tedx Talks- Gowanus

On January 26th, an independent Ted Talks style event will center around one unique Brooklyn neighborhood, Gowanus.  The presentations will include historical stories from the area, ideas about how to handle the polluted canal, ideas about the neighborhood’s ecology, industry and evolution, and performances and presentations from local artists.  During breaks, attendees will be able to talk to local business owners and entrepreneurs in the exhibit area.  Tickets for the event are already sold out, however, you can stream the conference live here- https://www.ted.com/tedx/events/8856
