Happening Music: Aly Tadros

Our newest music obsession is Aly Tadros, local Brooklyn based singer/songwriter.  American Songwriter calls her voice “jazzy, earthy and smoky”.  MTV Buzzworthy describes her as “Ingrid Michaelson meets Colbie Caillat with a Southern twang.”  Aly has been performing across the globe for the past decade, performing over 700 shows in  North America, Europe, Egypt, Turkey, Canada and Mexico.  Her latest tour was in support of her sophomore album, The Fits.

Aly is coming home to New York and performing her biggest NYC show to date on August 21st at 9:30pm at Joe’s Pub in NoHo, which recently received the following props from Rolling Stone: “Part supper club, part theater, Joe’s Pub has made everyone from Lady Gaga to Leonard Cohen to Alicia Keys (who called it her “favorite rock & roll venue”) feel like royalty.”  Joining Aly for her set will be local singer/songwriters Mieka Pauley and Matt Sucich.  Don’t miss what promises to be an intimate, mesmerizing, and soulful performance from some of New York’s finest homegrown talents.
