Last Day to Recycle Your Tree!
Mulchfest was a great success today! Brooklyn residents flocked to the Prospect Park to put their Christmas trees through the wood chipper. Park staff uses the mulch for healthy ground cover in the park, or they give the mulch to the residents to use in their own gardens. Tomorrow is the last day of Mulchfest, don’t miss out on this wonderfully sustainable effort! Here are some of our photos taken today:
