From noon to 6pm on Saturdays until Christmas, you will find many historic trolleys driving around downtown Brooklyn! The revival of the transportation system is to encourage Brooklynites to travel downtown, rather than to trek into Manhattan to do their Christmas shopping. With so many shops popping up downtown, the borough wants to make it easier for locals to shop within their own neighborhood. The six stops in Brooklyn include Fulton Mall down to Atlantic Center. The borough has also pumped up the Christmas decor along the route. The trolley and decor are sure to deliver shoppers to their destination filled with Christmas cheer! Trolleys were fully functioning in Brooklyn between 1898 and 1950.
Keep your eyes peeled! Historic Trolleys are back in commission for the holiday season! http://t.co/iHs926QoSn http://t.co/LSkvtSmcN9
