The Greenest Block in Brooklyn
The winners have been revealed for The Greenest Block in Brooklyn! This annual contest, lead by the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens and Borough President Marty Markowitz, encourages neighborhoods and businesses to flex their green thumb. First place went to B&W Sterling Street Block Association, which is located in Prospect-Lefferts Gardens. The first place commercial winner was the Mid-Atlantic Block Association in Boerum Hill.
