WANTED: Engagement Ring Owner

cartoon_bride_largeIt’s the classic sitcom storyline come to life: the lost engagement ring.

A three-stone diamond ring was found in a restroom stall at the Barclay’s Center this past weekend. The discovery was made by Brooklyn resident Jorge Collazo, who was at the arena for Saturday’s Marc Anthony concert.

The ring was in a box and accompanied by a note with a message that included: “My dear Daniella d’Andrea, on this day of February 15, 2014 I want to give you this ring as a symbol of my Love for you.” The note was partly written in Spanish.

In an interview with 1010 WINS’ Sonia Rincon, Collazo said he hung around the restroom after finding the ring to see if anyone would come back for it, but no one did.

Collazo is currently keeping the ring at his apartment and hopes to return it to its owner. The owner can contact the Barclay’s Center Lost and Found to claim it.
