Photo Food Tour of Smorgasburg

This weekend we hit up Smorgasburg, the fabulous food rally of local vendors in Williamsburg.  Smorg, in a nutshell,  is every food lover’s paradise.  It is such a celebrated event, that last Christmas it was even featured on Oprah’s Favorite Things episode.  (Gayle King picked out Brooklyn Piggies and Pipcorn to share with their audience.  “And YOU get a Piggie!  And You get a Piggie!  Every-Body-Gets-A-Piggieeeee!”)   We digress…It was a beautiful Saturday, and East River State Park was packed full of hungry Brooklynites.  The trick to a successful Smorg is to avoid getting too full too quickly, but man is that a challenge- everything looks delicious!  Here are our pics from around Smorg, and what we ate:

Smorgasburg is open every Saturday from now until October at East River State Park from 11am-6pm and on Sundays in DUMBO at the Tobacco Warehouse from 11am-6pm.  Did you go to Smorg this weekend?  What did you eat?
