Have a Picnic in Prospect Park– One of our favorite things to do is gather the family for a cookout in the park, especially on Independence Day!  The park is offering some fun activities for kids as well.  Get educational with a tour of the Lefferts Historic House, representing over 200 years of New York City History.  While you are there, from 1pm-4pm, make your plumed hat and sign your John Hancock on the reproduced Declaration of Independence!
